Free CO2 Emissions Model Compare Vehicle Variants, Materials Substitutions and Estimated Life Cycle Emissions

Developed through a study conducted by the University of California at Santa Barbara, CA USA,  Bren School of Environmental Science and Management, this free calculator has been developed which calculates life cycle CO2 emissions attributable to vehicles as a function of their material composition and powertrain characteristics. Using this model, comparisons can be made as to the CO2 emissions produced over a vehicle life cycle, when different materials, powertrains, fuels and driving cycles are considered.
